Drama studies at Pebblebrook High School are
also part of the performing arts magnet program:
CCCEPA. In the acting and drama classes,
students focus on learning basic internal acting
techniques and also on the external techniques
of acting: voice and stage movement. The students
also begin to study scene work, monologues and
auditioning, musical theatre, and improvisation in
the more advanced classes. The student will also
begin to work with Shakespeare and other more
advanced acting styles. Many guests are brought in to
work with the students in special master class sessions,
and we present full slate of extracurricular dramatic productions
in our state-of-the-art Black Box Theatre.
